The NHYC Fall Schock Regatta, hosted by the Newport Harbor Yacht Club, includes one-design racing for Lehman 12, Harbor 20, and Finn boats typically held in September.
These events are open to members in good standing of clubs or organizations affiliated with Southern California Yachting Association (SCYA) or any national authority associated with the sport of sailboat racing. There is no fee for entering the one-design races.
The racing area is typically in the harbor north of the main dock of Newport Harbor Yacht Club and consists of several windward/leeward races. Awards are presented after the final race of the day.
