Mentors

Following are individuals available to Mentor in Harbor 20 scrimmages, practices, regattas, or just out for a sail. A Mentor sails with you on your boat. If you would like to get some experience on your boat and get on the “fast track” on learning how to race a Harbor 20, contact any of the individuals listed below. If you would like to be added to this list, submit your request using the form on the bottom of this page. Please include wheter you would be available to mentor on H20 race days, non race days, or both.

Availability: Some Race Days & many Non Race days

Experience:  Harbor 20 racing crew for numerous A, B and now C Division owners each year since 2007; infrequent H20 race skipper (new racing skipper mentoring). Have attended most H20 specific training days and seminars.  US Sailing Race Official and Protest Judge (racing procedures and rules mentor).

Experience:

Over 40 years racing Harbor 20s, Lido 14s, Sabots, ocean racers and other boats.  Currently in Harbor 20 A fleet.  Sailing instructor for two years as a teenager.  (Of course, that was awhile ago!)
