Originally conceived by Phil Ramser, one of the H20 Class founders, and now championed by Bob Yates our “Frolic Meister”, Friday Frolics are informal races hosted by volunteers from NHYC that provide a great opportunity to hone your racing skills in an uncrowded harbor. No scoring, no trophies, just fun racing! The action starts at 2:00 and runs until the race committee decides it’s enough, usually around 3:30 or so. Participants are invited to lunch at the Pirates Den at NHYC beforehand, and to return afterwards for libations and camaraderie.

There is no official entry, but for insurance purposes you do have to register to sail in Friday Frolics. The is no cost and you only have to register once for the entire year.
