I purchased this 2002 Harbor 20 in 2012, sailed it in 2013, changed jobs, and didn’t sail again until 2022.
I kept the boat in a slip in 2013, 2022, and 2023. In 2018, I purchased a custom Triad trailer [$5k], which has been used four times to tow the boat to and from the marina in 2022 and 2023.
Other than the sails showing their age, the boat’s in good shape and ready for another season. The stainless steel standing rigging has only three season’s use and while you could probably get another season or two out of the sails, I’d find someone who races their boat and buy their practice sails; racers routinely change sails and usually offer their last set of very good condition sails at attractive prices.
The Harbor 20 sails exceptionally well. It’s wonderfully responsive and the roller furling and self-tacking jib makes single-handing a joy. The cockpit is deep, comfortable, and spacious enough to bring along a few friends.
I receive many compliments on the Harbor 20. It’s stable, fast, and fun – just splash and sail.

Looking to purchase your Harbor 20, if you’re considering selling your Harbor 20 contact me, I am a cash buyer willing to purchase as is, where is, for a fair price, no brokers please.
I purchased the boat from Tom Schock at WD Schock in March of 2010 as the second owner. This boat was originally day sailed at Big Bear Lake and then moved to Elephant Butte Lake in southern New Mexico after purchase. This is a fresh water only boat. The bottom paint is new, Pettit Vivid white with Pettit epoxy barrier. The mast and standing rigging were replaced at the time of sale. A swim ladder was also purchased from WD Schock. The spinnaker was purchased new in 2010, Elliott/Pattison asymmetric spinnaker, and has never been used. The mainsail, jib and running rigging are original. The trailer tires are probably original as well. The motor controller has been rebuilt and the electric motor runs well. The two marine batteries have been on a battery maintainer.
The boat is currently stored at Elephant Butte Lake in my building and has been not been sailed in about 3 years.
Asking $ 16,000.00

If you interested call me. I can provide the sale sheets from WD Schock in 2010, and a replacement value estimate.
Please, NO texts.
These sails and headsail furler are from a Schock Marine Harbor 20 daysailer. They have been lightly used and were sent to Sail Care this last winter to be reconditioned with the Le Mauney process. New sails are $1528 (main) and $796 (jib). The CDI furler lists for $676. Total new is around $3000…..if you’re not racing you’ve got a perfect set of class legal sails and furler for a daysailer at 60% off.
