The W.D. Schock Memorial Regatta hosted by the Newport Harbor Yacht Club,  includes one-design racing for Lehman 12 and Harbor 20s on two consecutive days (Saturday & Sunday) in February or March each year.

These events are open to members in good standing of clubs or organizations affiliated with Southern California Yachting Association (SCYA) or any national authority associated with the sport of sailboat racing.

The racing area is typically in the harbor north of the main dock of Newport Harbor Yacht Club and consists of several windward/leeward races. Awards are presented on the conclusion of the 2nd day of racing.
