CAPTAIN KIDD’S TREASURE HUNT
The mighty treasure may be discovered at the Stars and Stripes Regatta this year. So, dress up in your finest pirate garb and decorate your Harbor 20 and show up at the Lido Isle Yacht Club dock on Sunday, June 12th at 1 PM sharp.
Be sure that you bring a powerful spy glass.
If you bring a kid under 16 years, you get the bonus of a head start. If you bring two kids you get two head starts.
Ye Ancient Treasure Map. otherwise known as sailing instructions, will be available when you arrive.
Rum and spirits will not be provided, so bringyour own, for they will clarify your thinking and speed up your progress around the course. The Treasure Chest is full of trophies and other goodies, so the boat members who find the chest will be well rewarded for their hard efforts, brillance and good looks. What more could you ask for!
Dinner and libations will be served after the Treasure Hunt. Check the web site for more information in a few days. Captain Kidd will be delivering a flyer.
