Summary of Single hole North Jib 2025 as experienced by SOD Pleione ,Fluer De Lis, Cherry Bomb, Cardremian

The background on this is the new single hole clew configuration that North produced protrudes from the clue which all agreed performed great in light to med wind ranges, but in our upper wind range it bottoms out and the top of the sail (breaks/luffs). We all agreed that the clew ring needed to be moved up on the load path so more tensions could be applied up the leach (to keep the top of the sail from flapping). North pressed a new ring into a sail and that sail was passed around to gather input. We all agreed that the sail performed in the upper wind range.  There is a difference in opinion on whether to go back to the 5-hole clew board, use a 3-hole clew board (similar to our old Ullman sail) or stick with single whole. pressed in clue.

At meeting Group discussed  this issue with SOD recommending Single Hole Whoa Donkey 5 hole clew board and majority finding the 3 hole clew board as best solution. Good healthy conversation about all three options Trey Proposed all Fleet 4 future jibs are to be 3-hole clew board, Lee added to proposal, as built exclusively by local North (Ventura) loft. Trey 1st Rich 2^nd motion.
