Transfer of Treasurer duties: mail checks, transition
Dues: Harbor 20 class dues (national association)
Fleet 4 dues: should be completed by Feb 1 each year ($100)
Develop an annual budget for the fleet
Develop a budget for fleet party that coincides with E-W regatta

Looking Ahead to 2026 On the Water Goals/Racing:
Spring WW start Wednesday April 1st
Discussed the length of race, works for now, leave it alone
Reminder: Spring Regatta Saturday April 11th
Anchoring: fifty feet of rode seems to be enough to keep you off the beach
Discussed minimum amount of rode and minimum weight of anchor,
continued to next meeting
Looking Ahead to 2026 – Off the Water Goals:
Fleet Party 7/17 incorporated with Friday night E-W Party
Fleet four hats for sale at the SBYC Burgee store
Sailing club Liaison: Austin Artis
ACTION ITEMS:
Finish Measure/Weigh-in all Boats: Gt will be organizing in coming weeks
Three more boats to weigh, some might to want be reweighed, contact GT if you want your
boat weighed
4 or 5 boats were recently weighed
Centennial Race: thanks to the fleet for providing boats and organizing
Develop a check off sheet for boats when then are being loaned, check offs, things that need
to be repaired, damage, etc.
SBYC pays a $125 charter fee to each boat owner: staff commodores regatta and centennial
regatta
E-W Regatta: Chair Kevin Dumain
Kevin is replacing the list below with Google Doc

Team coordination amongst E-W

Discussed fees for competitors, owners reps, charge for a three person boat, charge for the

Swag team: discussed ideas for items: hats, Fiesta cup shirt with a logo for H20 added: let
Helen come up with a design
Order hats early, vendor?
Discussed different types of sails currently on boats: North vs other sails
Sailing Instructions: no racing if wind is over 18 knots: maybe no spinnakers, only whites
Housing Committee: Chris: Get hosts and guests lined up
Debating who’s going to represent Fleet Four, three boats
Friday practice: spin demo, chalk talk, five boats for practice but might need 12 boats for every
competitor?
Recommend sub committee meetings every two weeks or so
Notice to competitors regarding the timeline, Friday practice and spinnaker demo
NEW Business:
Safety: MOB and rescue (man overboard)
Harbor 20 is difficult to get back on board and rescue
ladder to get back into boat
a line tied to cleats along the side of the boat
OLD Business:
A & B Fleet division Wet Wednesday: scored separately, other fleets do it.
Start simple to see if it works, self select which group boots are in
Geoff to research how to divide the group. One start.
Geoff and Helene expressed interest in more single handed and non-spinnaker sailing
there is interest from the fleet, Friday evenings
